Baby Dedications, Christenings, & Naming Ceremonies

Welcome your new baby with a ceremony of thanksgiving! I am available for baby dedications, christenings, and baptisms. There are many beautiful traditions that can be incorporated into these celebrations. Celebrate with your family and friends at the venue of your choice, or in the comfort of your own family home.

The purpose of a baby dedication or christening is:

  • To gather to celebrate new life
  • To share a beautiful and holy rite of passage in the life of a Christian child and his or her parents, wherein we acknowledge and thank God for the gift of your beautiful child.
  • We come to seek the Lord’s guidance and direction in order to equip those who will be most influential in a child’s life…those who will help this baby grow through childhood, adolescence, and ultimately become the man or woman God wants him or her to be.
  • We come seeking the Lord’s blessing and protection, His covering and wisdom, as we encourage and celebrate the spiritual life that your child is about to begin, as a member of the family of Almighty God.
  • We gather to formally enter into a covenantal relationship with God, as a partnership is established concerning the stewardship and care of his precious child.

The christening or dedication of a child is a special occasion, both for the child involved and his or her family. As parents take the time to thank God for a baby's life, they must also promise to fully answer the call to parenthood, to help shape and mold their son or daughter into a man or woman after God’s own heart.

Baby Ceremony

The church is not a building...The Church is the body of believers who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and desire to follow Him.

Welcome God’s Holy Spirit and present your child to the Lord with gratitude and humility. Focus your hearts towards God in thankfulness and praise.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” 3 John 4
